When I was looking for my reception venue, I had about 12 places that I was considering. I visited Grand Oaks the 1st day and I immediately decided that my search was over. Grand Oaks really has everything you could want in a venue. They thought of everything, down to the way down to the little details of how the bathroom doors open and the coat closet. You know it's a great venue when you are "ohh-ing and ahh-ing" at the coat closet. When I saw Grand Oaks for the 1st time, it was still under construction but I could see my wedding unfolding and fitting in the venue perfectly. It is classic, modern, elegant and simple all at the same time. The grand ball room is absolutely stunning and the gallery will be a great place for either our ceremony or cocktail hour. I love that both my groom and I have our own rooms to get ready. The outdoor area is breathtaking as well. I cannot wait to get married at Grand Oaks! …As you know, this is a very important time of a mother’s life. I wanted something romantic, intimate, and memorable for (my daughter). With Grand Oaks, it happened. You connected me with some of the most wonderful, professional people. Not sure that there is anyone that can top Bryan (the caterer) at Simply Delicious. Everything he touched was perfect. The staff on the evening of the event were professional and enjoyable to have there. I have had compliment after compliment from our guests. I believe that friends and family will talk about their wedding for a long time to come. I truly believe that the entire day went off without a problem. I could go on and on, but I won’t. All the small things you did for me, like putting the flowers in the vases for the centerpieces, was so appreciated, and setting the tables & chairs up per (our daughter’s) seating chart! We had a wonderful experience for our wedding and reception at Grand Oaks. The outside gazebo provided a beautiful ceremony site with minimal decor needed. We received numerous compliments on what a wonderful venue Grand Oaks is. We had a fairly large reception (~250 people), and had plenty of room. The owners and staff really do care about making your wedding/event special, which is great. I cannot tell you how many wonderful compliments both families received regarding (our children’s) wedding reception. The facility that you so carefully designed was greatly appreciated by our guests. Everything was clean & in working order, which was no small feat considering that Grand Oaks held two other weddings on Friday and Saturday, plus a church service on Sunday morning (before our event). We are very thankful that we were able to provide such an enjoyable location. Everything was so tasteful, both inside and out! We were also thrilled to be able to include “an outside presence” as an integral part of the party. I was very impressed with the Grand Oaks Event and Business Center and am excited to have our wedding reception at their facility. As I searched for a reception location, I wanted a place that felt warm and welcoming. When I walked into the facility, I was struck by how nice the space is, yet it does not feel pretentious or pompous. I also wanted my reception location to have outdoor space that guests could use during the reception. The Grand Oaks facility has a very nice outdoor area where we plan to set up yard games for the guests to enjoy during the reception. If it rains on our wedding day or is unbearably hot, the inside of the facility has plenty of space to accommodate our guests comfortably. As the owners designed their facility, their attention to detail has made it a truly special place to hold an event. Everything from how nice the restrooms are to the removable bars to the lighting options, they have done everything they can to make their space beautiful, comfortable for guests and a setting where memories can be made. I knew from the moment we met with you so many months ago, we shared the same vision of the type of event the kids were hoping for. It is a fantastic venue, and the attention to detail –from the women’s lounge to the bridal room to the kitchen and prep areas-makes it beautiful and efficient. Working with you has been great. Never having planned something of this scale, you led me through the process and made it so easy. Your staff coordinated with the various vendors, everything worked smoothly, and I was really able to enjoy the evening without feeling the need to constantly check on the arrangements.
